I, Dr. Nikhil Mhala Assistant professor at MIT-WPU university, Researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Image Processing, Machine Learning, Matlab, Python, and C. Strong research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused on Visual cryptography and image processing from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. I have worked as assistant professor at VIT-AP University. I completed B.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) from Prof Ram Meghe College of Engineering and Management, Badnera-Amravati, India and M.Tech. ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF SECURE VISUAL SECRET SHARING (VSS) SCHEME WITH ENHANCED CON- TRAST (Guide: Dr. Alwyn R. Pais , July’16 - July’21)

o    VSS scheme encrypts the Secret Image (SI) into multiple shares. It recovers the secret image based on the "all or nothing" methodology (i.e. all shares must be stacked together to recover the secret image else nothing will be revealed).

o    Proposed a novel Randomized VSS (RVSS) scheme, which hides the random pixels into shares to im- prove the contrast of the SI. It embed data into shares to improve reconstruction contrast of SI

o    Proposed a novel super-resolution based progressive VSS scheme to reduce blocking artifact of the SI.

o    A CNN-based architecture is also proposed in the thesis to reduce various artifacts present in the reconstructed image. CNN architecture uses an extracted residual image learned from the SI to further improve the visual quality of the SI.
